This Glogster is my Personal Learning Summary for the course I am taking on 21st century teaching and learning. As of today, it is still in progress, but is just about finished.
Glogster is a tool that is pretty easy to use once you figure out what it can do. I am a visual person, so this "poster" of myself and my learning experiences was fun to make. I basically use it as a platform from which to link to other projects I've made with different online tools.
Glogster has a lot of improvements in the works that will make it even more useful as an expressive tool. I tried to embed video, but that feature is very limited at the moment.
Right now I can't imagine what else I would use it for, but it did work well for this particular project.
I have since migrated my Glogster account to the Glogster EDU version. This is especially for teachers.
I have been mulling over the idea of having my students use Glogster to create a book report. I think it may lend itself very well to that kind of project.
We'll see. I've got a lot of projects underway at the moment...
